Holy shit, how cool is that? This is getting too difficult. I’ve already bought a snakeskin-style leather suitcase with leopard-skin print interior (pictures of the hideously brilliant thing coming soon) AND an X-box recently, I’m going to go broke and eventually die in a pile of crap.
It’s a noble way to go.

This strange, half-man, half-dog, quarter-potato creature may or may not be the real love child of Russell Grant but, in this culture of celebrities adopting the less-fortunate for an inevitable fucked-up future, I think it would be only right for Mystic Meg’s male equivalent to adopt this mutant beast. They’d look so good together.

As someone who considers himself something of a designer, as well as a bit of a style guru, I love Apple. As someone who never has a lot of money, enjoys personalisation and experimentation, has a uncontrollable attachment to things that barely work properly (my car, for example), and likes downloading just about any program he comes across just to see what happens – I find it hard to let go of Windows.

With the release of Leopard, the utter disappointment of Vista, and the success of boot camp, maybe it’s time for me to make that switch apple.com assures me is all too easy.

To be honest, I love XP. With some free software, the little OS worked safely, looked sexy and was flexible and rugged enough to take whatever I threw at it. Vista, on the other hand, is a pain. I was excited to get my hands on it, even after the less-than-promising reviews, but it really is just a nuisance to use. My few experiences with Macs, however, have been quite positive despite programs crashing at a frequency that surprised me. I’ve been trying to talk my girlfriend into getting a Macbook – mainly because I love my battered, little Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro that I’m currently working on and am not quite ready to say goodbye to him.

It’s a tough choice. Until I have enough money that it wouldn’t really make a difference anyway, or my laptop fails me (please no!) and the only other alternative would be to go Vista (yes, I know about Linux, and I do quite like it – I’ve got it dual booted on this laptop but the lack of design programs make it essentially worthless to me), I’ll just stick to looking at the pictures and reading about what I might be missing….sigh….

Leopard vs. Vista feature chart showdown
