Project Sheepgut
This post represents a declaration of intent. I am set to embark on one of my most ambitious projects to date and I am hoping that, by announcing my commitment to completion on the pages of this dear blog, this will prove to be a worthwhile expense of my valuable time.
I will not be so courageous as to affirm a deadline for Project Sheepgut, mainly because I have no idea how to actually do half the tasks required to make it work properly but also because that would be unfair on all the other un-deadlined projects floating in the ether or my mind.
Details will be divulged as and when I can be bothered - though I will strive to keep it secret for as long as I can. Simply because it pleases me to do so. I can tell that this will involve me designing and building a blog from scratch which can compete in an already over-stuffed market, which is not something I’ve ever done before. The delightfully melancholic one you’re currently reading is not a scratch-built design - the original template was called pDawn created by Paggu. I’ve briefly looked at some tutorials on how to make an original wordpress theme, and it seems pretty complicated - which is all part of the fun.
More about this soon.
In the meantime there is a novel I want to write, my many blogs to keep updated, I want to work on my Google OS design (which is something, in my geeky hearts of hearts, I dream of), I’ve had an awesome idea for a computer game, the feature of Deadlamb needs updating, my freelance page has to be completed, and I really want to start a gadget blog.
Ace.
